I was away for a week leaving me with less time for my documentary and I had to catch up. I hadn’t had a topic yet and I couldn’t really think of one. Mr. Holmes showed me an example of Clotilde’s version of a mind map and how it should be kind of like that. Chloe gave me a topic which was ‘Girls Self – Obsession’ I thought I it was a great idea because it wasn’t a very narrow of broad topic and my research wouldn’t be as hard as I thought it would. This took me about three periods of class time to get my topic going with the mind map.
This is what i designed for my documentary, the outline that i should fools through the whole project:
30 secs – intro into the topic, flashing pictures that also have words in some slides, this also includes music in the background.
2 mins - pictures and text with voice over
3 mins – interview with girls (video)
4 mins – archival footage – girls talking about makeup/dressing up.
1 min 30 secs – video montage – instrumental music in the background
1 mins – credits
